Sonja Neven has been practicing metalsmithing for over 15 years, exhibiting and selling her work in Canada, the United States, as well as Europe and Japan.
Holding a BFA from ACAD in Calgary, she currently resides with her family on ten acres in rural Rockyview County, Alberta, Canada.
Through my work, I strive to preserve as much as create,
recycling older pieces to make something new, as seen in the Birdhouse pendants and rings created out of antique sterling silver flatware.
In this way, my work gives new life to old treasures.
